There are two things I like about fall: the cooler temperatures and the colorful leaves. Although today saw temperatures in the 70s' we have had several cold days in the last couple of weeks. Those cold temps (nights below 50 degrees) are what causes the leaves to turn their orange, yellow and red colors.
I drove from Hoover to Trussville Alabama yesterday to check out some property and the foliage was BEAUTIFUL. Last month, I kept seeing the weather channel talk about "peak" in the northeast, and I think Alabama is seeing its peak this week.
I tried to capture some of the scenery - but I missed so much because you can't drive and take pictures at the same time!!
Also the camera just doesn't show the colors as vibrant as they are in person with the sun shining off the various leaves.
Alabama is really a beautiful state. There are so many neighborhoods with beautiful views. If you have any questions about Real Estate in Hoover Alabama or the Greater Birmingham area. Contact me at www.ToniBird.com.

Toni, Beautiful photos! We've had a pretty fall with the most vibrant colors. We've been very lucky with temps in the 70's as well until this past week. Now we're feeling the cold....
